The start of Season 3 of the Overwatch League has been a monumental undertaking for the teams and the league as a whole, as they travel to homes every week, where teams compete in the teams they represent. Many teams have returned to their home in South Korea if they had a fully Korean background, others support in place in their respective cities while playing the Overwatch League in online matches only, instead of LAN matches which were standard for the league. This has been an esports standard as all matches have gone from LAN events to online only, ranging from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to DOTA 2.
Something was different in the water for the Vancouver Titans, as signs of tension began to appear on players’ social media. Slowly, each player started removing all mention of the Vancouver Titans from their social media pages as the team seemed to implode stress and worry from the Coronavirus.
